Many thanks to all the wonderful supporters who came out in the bitter cold to Dino Annex’s first concert of the 43rd Season! Here I am interviewing Scott Wheeler before the performance of his Fantasy Dances which was premiered by the same ensemble 30 years ago! More to pics to come later …
Co-Artistic Director of Dino Annex Sue-Ellen Hershman-Tcherepnin and I are interviewed by the local Watertown TAB in preparation for our season opener!
October 21, 2017 – So glad to have delivered American premieres of works of South African composers Jürgen Bräuninger and Pierre-Henri Wicomb for piano and electronics at the Fenway Center at Northeastern University in Boston. Many thanks to Professor Dennis Miller for organizing the show. Bräuninger’s piece, relying on improvisational aspects from the performer, certainly challenged me in novel ways.
I’ve been appointed co-Artistic Director of Dinosaur Annex Music Ensemble! I look forward to working with the ensemble in our mission of providing the Boston area with the best of contemporary music from here and around the globe.
Announcement of our new season came out a few weeks ago; check it out! Hope to see many of you at our first concert on November 17, 2017!
